WOD: 1) Jerk EMOTM: Minutes 1-5, 3 Jerk Balance, Minutes 6-15, 2 Halting Jerks, Minutes 16-25, 1 Jerk Warm-up as needed. Start at a relatively light weight and build as heavy as deemed fit. Halting Jerk should be a 2 second pause in the bottom of the dip. 2) 12 minute AMRAP: 10 Burpee-to-Target 15 Pull-ups 20 Wall Balls 20/14 Extra Work: 3) Hip Thrusts: 3 sets of 15 Rest 90-120 seconds between sets. Heavy as possible. 4) Dumbbell Overhead Tricep Curl: 4 sets of 10 Rest 90-120 seconds between sets. Heavy as possible. WOD: 1) Alternating Dumbbell Lunges: 3 reps/leg EMOTM x 12 sets Pick a pair of relatively heavy dumbbells. Alternate reps on each leg. Build in weight if you feel comfortable over the 10 minutes. 2) Deadlift: 3 reps Every 75 seconds for 10 sets Start around 60% of your 1RM Deadlift. Build as heavy as deemed fit. Reps should be Touch and Go. 3) 10 minute AMRAP: 10 Deadlifts 95/65 20 Abmat Sit-ups 40 Single-unders Extra Work: 4) Hollow Position: Tabatta 8 x :20/:10 For results post detailed weights, reps, times, thoughts, etc. for all work completed. Paleo Challenge Podium

A huge congratulations goes out to those that stayed right on track through the 30 day Paleo Challenge and came out on top improving across the board on all of there stats. Great work, keep it up, and while it doesn’t have to be strict, try and make this a regular part of your lifestyle. Amazing what you can accomplish in just 30 days.   Carly in first place before and after losing 10.2lbs and improving her benchmark met-con by 19.20% In second place David Melincoff Losing 7.6lbs and improving his benchmark met-con by 35.37% And one of our awesome new members Christiana coming in third Losing 8lbs and improving her benchmark met-con by 17.89% Congratulations you guys all did amazing!
