We hope this message finds everyone having an awesome weekend. After a few weeks of tearing things down, re-arranging, and re-building we are pretty much ready to go.  We still have a couple of things to clean-up and organize, but the gym is largely setup how it will remain going forward. Thank you all for your patience during this time. So, with that, we will be opening back-up to full normalcy as of tomorrow, Monday, June 7th. What this means, tried to keep it simple, check the bullet points below. Gym Hours (Monday – Thursday) 5:30 AM – 1:30 PM & 3:45 PM – 7:45 PM (Friday) 5:30 AM – 1:30 PM & 3:15 PM – 7:15 PM (Saturday) 7:45 AM – 11:45 AM (Sunday) Closed (we will look at bringing Sunday’s back in the near future if there is demand for it)…

CVCF Gym Update – 5/16/21

We’re Free!!! Happy Sunday everyone. With the very quick and recent changes on top of some other notes we’ve been needing to get out, we wanted to get some info out to you regarding some upcoming items at the gym along with the obvious changes we’re now allowed to enact as of Friday. Re-Opening As I assume most, if not all of you know already, on Friday, the Governor announced that the state of VT would be immediately falling in-line with the new CDC Federal Guidelines. This is something that we certainly weren’t expecting quite so soon so it is leaving us scrambling just a little bit but we are trying to make quick changes so that we can capitalize on the opportunity of getting as much as possible back to normal at the gym. Unfortunately this isn’t just a flip of the…

CVCF 4.0 + New Staff

I hope you are all having a fabulous weekend and got the opportunity to get outside and enjoy some of that beautiful sunshine yesterday. It’s hard to believe that we’ve already surpassed a year on our initial shut-down and quarantine, and we’re already coming up on a year of when we were officially allowed to re-open CVCF. To say it’s been a tiring and anxiety ridden time for us is a bit of an understatement, but we’ve thankfully been able to push through, learn, compromise, help and receive help however we can to get through what has certainly been the most difficult time in many of our lives. With more and more people in our state getting vaccinated every day, and from what I can tell from our community, we seem to have a pretty high vaccination rate, which combined with the high…

CVCF Comp Training 2021-2022

In the last year we’ve seen some drastic, and what we feel are great changes to the CrossFit atmosphere, many of them specific to the competition season. The last 12 months have been a mess for everyone, training has been off for some, while others have had more time than ever to train. Programming has been a little all over the place because of so much unknown, certain equipment not being able to be regularly used, etc. After over 10 years running a CrossFit gym and helping numerous athletes succeed in the Sport of CrossFit it’s given us a lot to think about how, what, why we program. One of the things that has made CrossFit so interesting on the competitive side is the enormous amount of different ways to train.  There is no one right way, but their are definitely wrong ways….

CVCF Gym Update – 2/7/21

We hope everyone is having a fabulous morning to round out the weekend. Hard to believe we’re already through the entire month of January and a week into February. Before we know it the doors will be open and sun will be shining into the gym. We first wanted to start off by just saying thank you. We’re not sure any of us believed we’d be in such a position right now a year ago, you can certainly count on life to keep us on our toes. Thank you for continuing to support CVCF, for following our guidelines which has allowed us to stay open, and for being kind and respectful of one another which in such a time is so incredibly important. As we continue to march through the winter we appreciate your continued support and cooperation in helping us keep the…
