Happy birthday to Chris Smith. He got in the gym twice today, hitting two benchmark WOD’s and hitting big PR’s on both. Those who didn’t make it in missed a great workout. A quick note. We are putting together a team for the C2 fall rowing challenge. It started two days ago but you can still hop in. Each person on the team needs to row 100k over the next month. If we put together a full team we get entered into a raffle for a free rower. We’ve already got 6 people doing it, anyone is welcome to join…come in early to row or stay late, whatever you want. I imagine everyone is a little tired from the last few hard days of training…between that and the awful weather it seemed to scare people into the warmth of their homes. No worries, I imagine you will be all charged and ready to go tomorrow. On-rampers, you did miss those wonderful burpee box jumps that I said might pop up from time to time…they popped up today and everyone rocked them out. See you guys tomorrow. Cheers. Another solid day, and an awesome effort put in by everyone in the gym today. What, what, another person signed up today, with possibly two more coming. We are continuing to grow, hell yeah. On-ramp is done for the week…but if you were part of the On-Ramp this week, please come the rest of the week as the movements are designed around the On-Ramp classes from this week. Cheers. Wow, you all killed it in the gym today. It was great to see so many people in, and we add a full gym at 5:45 with 15 people in the gym. The On-Rampers continue to make great progress, and got their hands dirty moving some weight around again today with the deadlift. Again, we picked up another new member today, say hi. We are growing quickly and everyone seems to be jiving and enjoying the atmosphere…I’m so pumped to see you all in here. On-Ramp again tomorrow, a quick reminder to the On-Rampers, the programming for Thursday-Saturday is designed around the movements in the On-Ramp so don’t hesitate to come in for those workouts. Hope everyone had a great weekend. We kicked the week of with some hard workouts, and picked up a new member. Say hi if you don’t recognize someone. All worked their tails off today, and are already making big improvements. Jeff Dannies, big improvement on squats over last week, and the women are getting a little more comfortable with pushing some weight around…right on. See everyone tomorrow. Cheers.
