So I had my first real legitimate cheat last night. Went to a dinner party and had a good sized chunk of cheddar cheese and a few chocolate chip cookies, along with a couple glasses of red wine. Fortunately it didn’t upset my stomach at all, and I felt fine this morning. I did sleep a bit longer than expected this morning though, so I hit the gym in the evening instead. Feeling pretty good this morning, I’ve got a little shin splint action, and some weird soreness in my entire lower leg area. Nothing too painful, hopefully it just helps strength my legs that much more. Clean eating thus far today. WOD: “Barbara”5 rounds for time of:20 Pull-ups30 Push-ups40 Sit-ups50 Air Squats 24:50 Super pumped on this workout today. I was expecting to beat my previous time by a good bit as…

Much needed rest day today. Solid eating so far, it’s about 3 as I write this. Nothing fitness and health related today just something amazing and makes me feel grateful for what I have.

Woke up this morning in some pain, but surprisingly not as bad as last night. My legs feel better, but the entire middle of my back, top to bottom is pretty sore, I’m sure from the intense rowing yesterday. Hit the gym early this morning, before eating which I’ve done the last few days. Another solid day of eating today, no cheats at all. I had a mango this morning, which I haven’t had in quite a long time, and damn they are amazing. Going to have to pick those up more often given how cheap they are. WOD: Strength:Overhead Squat: 135×5, 125×5, 125×5 Met-con:“Helen”3 Rounds for time400m Run/(1/4 mile on treadmill)21 55lb Kettlebell Swings12 Pull-ups 9:08 Training was pretty solid today. Was happy with my first set of overhead squats, heavier than I’ve ever done before, and probably a little to heavy….

As I write this in the late evening all I can say is wow, I am so, so, so sore. My legs were sore this morning, and then the WOD this morning absolutely destroyed them, followed by 7 hours standing on my feet at work. I’m incapacitated a bit to say the least. I may have to skip training tomorrow and start a new set of training days on Thursday, we shall see. I’d really like to hit it tomorrow but there are times when the soreness can definitely be a deterrent to training and certainly recovery. Eating was solid today, a little caesar dressing, other than that I was paleo all the way. 10 days so far with very minimal cheats. WOD: – Rower Intervals 1 minute on 1 minute rest x 10– Goal is to hit 3000m total– Every 5 meters…

So another solid day of eating aside from a little tiny, tiny cheat. I was making cookies at work and had a small, nickel sized ball of dough, oh well. Couldn’t make it 30 days, but I’m hardly worried about 30-40 calories worth of food. Was honestly a little beat after getting out of work today, but I was ready to hit the weights and put up some good numbers. Body was feeling solid and no soreness anywhere. WOD: Strength:Back Squat: 185×8, 205×5, 215×8, 225×8 Met-con:For Time: 15-10-540lb DB Hang Power Cleans40lb DB Thrusters 4:33 So to start squats felt pretty good. Not sure what the deal was but my knees were definitely hurting a bit during the squats. Maybe they needed a little more warming up, not sure. They hurt, but not enough to warrant a stop in the squats. First set…
