Quads still destroyed this morning, which meant I would be hurting at the Level 1 Cert. today, and indeed I was. Certificaiton thus far has been great. All the coaches have been very informative and helpful. It’s nice getting a little feedback as I’m completely self-trained. Although I’m doing most everything right there are little things I need to adjust and it was helpful to know that. Jon from againfaster.com was incredibly helpful, and I feel by far the best coach at the cert. Both in his lecture and group training he was precise, knowledgeable, and overall extremely helpful. I can only strive to be as good as him. It was also good to make contact with Jon as he is a supplier for many of the CrossFit affiliates. I’m completely drained right now, going to bed in a few minutes. Another long day tomorrow.

Given how destroyed my legs still were this morning it was a rough day of training. The tabatta squats started off the day and cooked them pretty good, surpisingly I think I cranked out more total reps than I did last time I did this workout. Fran was brutal. My time was over 2 minutes slower than my previous best, but that seemed to be the norm for most of the people. Being already sore, doing a WOD, and being on the feet all day and going over movements left me in a pretty exhausted state before Fran. I got through the 21 thrusters unbroken, and 14 pull-ups, after that it was all broken up. Pretty happy overall given how cooked I was. Curious as to what my Fran time is at currently when I’m fresh. Knees are in an immense amount of pain. I’m really starting to get bummed out with this shit. I couldn’t even touch them after doing Fran. I may take a week off to give them a break and see if that helps. Looking forward to another solid day of learning tomorrow. Cheers.
