Drove down to Boston Friday for the weekend for CrossFit related stuff and to visit some buddies. My diet was actually great all day on Friday except for going out. I went out and had 4 beers over the course of the night. Training wise today was a day off thankfully. My thumb and pointer finger were still a little numb this morning which I was not to pumped about. My shoulders were not only incredibly sore but they almost felt a little injured. Hopefully my shoulders are just so sore that they feel somewhat injured. The center of my back/very low trap area is wicked sore as well. Legs actually feel surpisingly good.

Today was a nutrition nightmare. I just decided to lets things go. We all went out to restaurants all day at some pretty greasy places so I got a pretty large intake of starch, sugar, and excessive grease. No training today, my shoudlers are still super stiff and I figured another day off would be great. Really looking forward to doing my CF total tomorrow after a couple solid days of rest.

I stopped into CrossFit Boston this morning. Just wanted to say thanks to Jen, Steve, and Alex for being incredibly welcoming. I talked with Jen for a while about CrossFit Boston and what goes on there, and I was able to help out in both of the classes that were run. Great experience and I was able to learn a bunch that will help me with opening my own affiliate.

Tomorrow morning I’m driving up to Endicott College to listen to Barry Sears lecture. Looking forward to that to help improve my knowledge of nutrition. I’ll report back tomorrow.
