Training was great today, skipped additional strength work today as I had a tough met-con today and had done strength work for the last 2 days.

Warm Up:
100 Double-unders

5 45lb Barbell Deadlift

5 45lb Barbell Overhead Squat
5 Sit-ups
5 12lb Medicine Ball Clean + Squat

WOD: AMRAP 20 minutes
12 65lb Barbell Hang Power Snatch
10 Push-ups

Going to start here talking about the double-unders. They went okay, not awful, not great. I had some good spots of 10 or so, and some crappy ones of 2 or so. Although my shins did not hurt this morning, they were screaming after the double-unders. This is beginning to get extremely aggravating. I really wish they would just get better, going to try and pick up a foam roller tomorrow to help heal them. Skipped the pull-ups in my circuit portion of the warm-up because of the skin tears on my hands.

WOD was devastating. I didn’t think it would be nearly as bad as it was. I figured I’d be pushing hard cardiovascularly, but didn’t think my muscles were going to get as worked as they did. The snatches absolutely destroyed my shoulders, and since I was doing them from a hang they worked my grip a lot as well. I got through 14 rounds which seems pretty good based on the comments on the CF main-site. I was pumped that I was able to do every set of snatches unbroken, but the push-ups did not fair the same. Overall pretty devastating workout and I was cooked afterward. Looking forward to a day of rest tomorrow.
