CVCF Gym Update – 5/24/20

I hope everyone is having a fabulous Memorial Day weekend and has gotten the opportunity to get outside and enjoy some of that amazing sun. As we continue the process of hurry up and wait on the Governor to decide what and when is going to happen to businesses in the Fitness industry we’ve got some info below for you. At this point we are looking by the end of this week that almost all businesses will be open or are able to open in some capacity except for those in the Fitness and Spa industries, and a few other unique areas. While this has been becoming increasingly more frustrating, we do respect the desire to really try and squash this issue in Vermont to the best of our abilities, we just hoped there would be some more long-term info and guidance along…

CVCF Gym Update – 5/18/20

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and is looking forward to what looks to be a beautiful week. Summer finally showed up! As we roll through May and are already eyeing the start of June, I know like many of you ,we are really starting to get antsy about our situation at hand and what the future holds. Unfortunately once again we don’t really have any information for you. Our Governor and State continue to be very closed off and secretive in terms of laying out any sort of long term plan and they continue to roll with incremental and small announcements at press conferences a couple of times a week. As of this last Friday the broad range of Fitness oriented businesses in Vermont still have no timeline, no proposed guidelines, nothing. In the Governor’s press conference this past Friday a…

CVCF Gym Update – 5/10/20

Happy Sunday everyone, and Happy Mother’s Day to all of our Mother’s in the gym, both the ones that have dealt with our non-sense for decades as well as all of the amazing new Mother’s who we have in the gym that have decades of non-sense ahead of them 🙂 I hope all of you Mother’s have the best day you can and can enjoy some time with your families and loved ones. Where We Are As I’ve been doing each week I’ve been trying to keep everyone up to date on where we are at and what lies ahead for CVCF. I won’t lie, this last week has been a tough one. It’s probably the first time since we closed that I have personally have really struggled with the current situation at hand. I’ve tried to be super positive with myself over…

CVCF Gym Update – 5/4/20

And just like that’s it May. Hard to believe we’re just a couple of days away from being closed for 7 weeks. While in some ways it’s gone quickly, in others, the time seems to have crawled by. I think it’s really important for all of you to commend yourselves for keeping yourselves healthy and sane through this time. Through this crisis, and others we’ll have in the future, I truly believe those that take care of themselves from a health/wellness/nutrition/exercise standpoint will be the individuals who are most able to deal with situations like this and will be able to come out of the gates charging and ready to succeed in their daily lives. Taking care of yourself in these ways not only keeps your mental health up, but for those who’ve come to CVCF for long enough, or even just done…

CVCF Gym Update – 4/26/20

I hope everyone is having a great start to their Sunday morning, and hopefully you were able to enjoy that AMAZING sunshine yesterday. Dani and I are so excited for the warm weather, and very much looking forward to getting the mats pulled out behind the gym and working out in the sunshine in the near future. I just wanted to send everyone a quick note to give a little update on where we are at. Well, there isn’t much to update unfortunately. You all I’m sure know just as much as we do in terms of the running of our state and country, but here are a few things we’re working on and also planning for. We applied for a PPP Loan on April 6th, we finally heard from the bank that the loan had finally been underwritten as of Friday, and…
