CVCF Gym Update – 4/13/20

I hope everyone has a great weekend, if you do Easter I hope it was a fabulous one, and if not I hope you were just able to get outside and enjoy the day and get some sunshine. A little bit of a bummer to see the warmest day of the week be rainy, but it looks like we’re going to have albeit a little cool, a gorgeous week. Plenty of opportunity to get outside and get some sunshine, hit some running intervals, or maybe just bring your whole workout outside. As I’m sure you all know we are now under state mandate to stay home until the 15th of May, which of course means the gym will also be closed for that time. The 15th is a Friday, which likely means if the state holds to that we’ll likely try and open…

CVCF Gym Update – 4/6/20

I hope everyone is enjoying waking up to what is going to be a beautiful day. It’s been about a week or since we sent a note out. Just wanted to give you guys a quick update and some thoughts, as well as of course ask for your feedback on what we can do to better serve you all within reason of our abilities/facilities. Business Timeline As of right now the state mandate that is in place currently keeps us closed until April 15, the middle of next week. However we are under the impression the Governor will come out this week to push this mandate back to at least fall in line with the Federal guidance of April 30th. While we hope that timetable will actually happen, and we will be able to go back to work and a more normal life…

CVCF Gym Update – 3/25/20

Good Morning everyone, or rather Good Lock Down day. So as you likely all know, we got some news yesterday that the State is asking people to stay at home permanently unless they’re out for work or essential items for living. We know for most of us exercise is pretty essential to our living…ever notice how your body and mind feel when you disappear from the gym for a few weeks, aside from not being sore, you’re generally not feeling to great about your well being as a whole. So keep up your exercise no matter what it is that you’re doing. With the State issued lock-down it looks like for the moment we are under this self-quarantine until at least April 15. Dani and myself are completely prepared from a mental aspect for this to likely last through the month of April…

CVCF Gym Update – 3/23/20

Good morning everyone, time to wake-up, start the day, and bring energy and a positive mindset to the week. It’s been a busy last 4-5 days and lots has been happing in the world. It seems pretty clear that for a lack of better words, shit has hit the fan. I’m incredibly grateful and fortunate that we all live in a more rural area, I can’t imagine what people are going through in places like NYC. As we look ahead, it seems that we’re going to be in this position for an extended period of time, and likely not back on our feet after this 15 day social distancing period is up. We will be waiting through this week to see what the government(s) have planned for us, but at this point the gym is under mandated closure with no clear direction regarding…

CVCF Gym Update – 3/19/20

I hope everyone is off to a good start to their day. Dani and I had a great workout this morning, we’ve been working on video content, training videos, and lots of “clerical” work. We’re doing our best to hunker down and keep as little contact as possible. While we aren’t concerned about being around people from a personal health stand point, we are concerned about the economic impact of people not social distancing themselves will have. Something for us all to think about, by staying away from each other, not only can we hopefully decrease the number of deaths, but we can hopefully get back to our normal lives as quickly as possible, which I know for many of us in certain industries is super important. A couple of quick updates for you. We keep getting asked where programming and such will…
